From the garden, and from our plant-based dye capsule: Dyed with plant-based pigment made from waste from fruits, vegetables and herbs (in this case, beetroots), The Billy Jean. is a relaxed silhouette with a slouchy fit.  This jean’s soft but substantial denim has special seams that are designed to absorb its natural dye differently, bringing beautiful tonal highs and lows to give The Billy Jean. a well-worn and much-loved look that is truly one-of-a-kind.
Care for your plant-dyed knits by washing them in cold water with gentle detergent and like colors. (This pigment can mischievously wash onto other clothes!)
Fading is natural– these knits are designed for the pigment to soften and lighten over time to take on the well-loved look of a vintage find. For richer color, also limit sun exposure.
